#01
Year of the Dog, 2018 | Dimension 20x20 cm
In the Year of the Dog, I drew a smiling Shiba Inu holding a pineapple. The phrase “Wang Lai” (旺來) means “prosperity comes” — and while it’s a lucky saying, I think I also meant it for myself. Come on, good luck!

#02
Year of the Tiger, 2022 | Dimension 42x29.7 cm
For the Year of the Tiger, I drew a lucky tiger — and also drew my family. Everyone wore a tiger hat and appeared in the calendar, month by month, spending the year together. There’s still some debate over who looks like which tiger — but at least we made the calendar together, that part’s for sure.

#03
Year of the Rabbit, 2023 | Dimension 14 × 14 cm × 4 sheets (set)
In the Year of the Rabbit, I made four spring couplets — each with a bunny and a New Year’s blessing. The wishes are the same, but with a lovely rabbit in the middle, maybe the new year feels a little lovelier too.

#04
Year of the Snake | Dimension 9 × 17 cm with gold foil
For the Year of the Snake, I drew two curling snakes, winding their way across the envelope. In the middle, it says “The Snake Brings a Turn of Luck” — a blessing, sure, but also a hint: it’s 2025, time to shake off 2024 and move on already!
